About
Joan has spent a lifetime working on his talent: going fast. From when he was a kid on pocket bikes to competing with the best in the World Superbike Championship.
In 2012 it all came to a halt. Joan suffered a serious accident at Imola during a practice session. His motorcycling career was instantly cut short. He was on the verge of death, but he fought and managed to pull through.
After a long period of rehabilitation and a lot of hard work, Joan insisted on having a vehicle adapted so that he could compete again. He changed vehicles, but his ambitions and competitive spirit did not change.
Since then, Joan has not stopped challenging himself, trying to improve and above all competing in the general categories with drivers who have no physical limitations, proving that there are no limits, unstoppable!

He made his Dakar 2022 debut by making history by being the first quadriplegic rider to take part in the toughest race in the world and also by finishing in the top 10 overall, 9th overall in the SVV category.
After this great result and a year of preparation he has decided to return to the Dakar 2024. Joan
proved that despite his physical limitation, he can achieve a great result and so now the clear objective
is for Joan to be the first quadriplegic to win the Dakar Rally, and we know that with all the necessary
means, this is possible.
